I have redone the fairy however did it in photoshop so dont think the qualities have mixed well with original illustrator design?

think these colours will be better on the dark background though?

using your storytime, took the word off then added a larger version of it behind and took the opacity down so create a kind f look- ie rollover?? wot u think

luce is drawing books now! you could put them on winter screen - winter tree, winter boy and the 2 books?

These are some of the appropriate fonts for web use. What do you think for our site?

Personally I prefer the rounder either arial, veranda or trebuchet. Then we could always use times for the smaller print eg the fairy story? But I think times looks too sophisticated?

 thought this could be the logo on the righthand side of the tree. maybe with a mini fairy on the book cover!?

thought about using this as a title to the pages with the static and then the choice of either eduction or fun side, then the tree where its taken out maybe or maybe the tree and the kids with then?? the kids have gone funny as i only placed them rather than saving etc!!

hey, thought this when redrawn and coloured  could be our logo for the educational side, with a book per season and the book the same colour as the children's t-shirt. with the type written on the book bind. what you think?

the kids that yet again i have created but at least there done, i have put sunnies on the girl but i odnt thin they look right on her, so will think of somthing else. i like the hat and scarf on rest though

really like both of your styles, think tomorrow we need to experiment with the opening page to see what looks best and get some kind of unity?

i have created the other little girl for summer, i havent finshed the hair again, yet i do like this one but her eyes look funny

the girl for either spring or for autumn with a scarf added, i dunno wot i think, i haven't finished the hair yet but apart from that its not to bad, the colours look bad 2getha also but we can change them together!

 yeh i think your right with that, i tried to do it, with summer girl in bright vest top and skirt, and spring girl in top and jeans. i think accs would be good though. x

think we need some kids in approtaite clothes if that makes sense, ie winter in coat hat n scarf, autumn in a hat n scarft n jumper, summer in skirt/shorts n short top, n spring in tshirt n jeans??? wot u fink xx

using becks trees i up them into illustrator to draw them, what do you think, Ive done all 4 as u can see bit bored, im not sure about the autumn one though, what do you think?? ive also created a site map

the trees look cool, but we were thinking of trying different ones just to see also it will be more experimention. im not hooked on the brown paper idea either sorry guys!! x

Once again the quality isn't very good, you can't see the texture and detail. I do like it in life though!

Also needs to be on brown paper.

hey, becca can you load your tree pics up because we need to see the collage effect to see if it will fit with the style, as it needs to be consistant? have you found an appropriate font?

 what you think, I have changed him a little bit. also have done him waving, and with both arms in the air! once I know you two like the design style, will use him for the basis for the other three. Going to put a dress, a skirt and the other boy with trousers on. is this all ok?? going to hand colour one of him in and mount on brown paper so I know what he will look like! will put on here when completed. (this is a photo of my work, as dont have scanner at home, so it will be clearer really!)

 Cartoon boys! I have been sketching some cartoon boys, as I think boys will be harder to draw than girls. Just trying to get a style, non of them are great drawings, but I think this one is my favourite style, and fits with the style of the fairy.

story

This is the story that me and Becca tried writing yesterday afternoon for the snow fairy:

Way up high, sleeping softly on the clouds are thousands of snow fairies. They rest peacefully until it gets so cold, they wake up to their whole bodies shivering. The shaking of their arms causes their wands to produce thousands of sparkling snowflakes which fall all the way down to earth, which allows children to play in snow.

Let me know what you two think. I think the language is simple enough, I don't think the ending is very strong.... and additions? ways it could be better?
